In the mid-2000s, our company was part of the Swiss-Swedish industrial giant ABB, operating as ABB Full Service. It was there that we developed our structured, industry-agnostic methodology for transforming end-to-end factory maintenance — across electronics, chemical, and heavy-industry environments alike. The approach was systematic, the results measurable. And the team that built it stayed together through the transformations that followed.
In 2015, the private equity firm Nordic Capital acquired the ABB Full Service business unit, and we became a standalone company under the Quant Service name. The substance of the work stayed the same as in the ABB years — but with an increasingly pronounced European focus. During these years our team was almost continuously on the road, supporting clients across multiple industries in many parts of the world.
In 2023, the Hungarian leadership team bought out the subsidiary, and we continued uninterrupted under the Propelance brand as a fully independent consultancy. Independence means tangible things: we take on projects where we can deliver real impact, we set our own professional standards, and only our clients' results count. The methodology we've honed for over a decade is now entirely our own.
Nearly two decades in an ever-changing world have taught us to seek out the new and adapt to it quickly — with humility, because we know that learning and growth never end.
The team stayed the same. The methodology stayed the same. What changed is our independence — and with it, the freedom to serve our clients entirely on our own terms.
